ORIGINAL HITLER YOUTH / DEUTSCHES JUNGVOLK DJ KNIFE

Hitler Youth DJ Knife. This 8-inch knife is smaller than the Hitler Youth Knife. The DJ knife is the last type of Hitler Youth affiliated knife produced during the Third Reich era. It did not have an HJ diamond in the grip plate. The scabbard leather is flexible but looks fragile.  Has functioning snap.  The knife has the usual aluminum hilt, the grip plates are of black checkered Bakelite, secured by aluminum rivets. The blade has most of the cross grain present but has areas of spotting with slight ding to tip. All in all, a nice used and hard to find DJ artifact.
