The 6-1/4 x 8-1/4 inch, 526-page hardcover book was published in 1946 (right after the war) by the German authorities in the Soviet occupied part of Germany (Sowjetische Besatzungszone) and contain EVERY Nazi book, newspaper, magazine, etc. that was published in Hitler-Germany that was to be discarded. Published by Zentralverlag (not to be mistaken with the NSDAP owned publishing house) in Berlin, the initial volume that is offered here was published on 1 April 1946, a supplement (‘Erster Nachtrag’) with additional publications to be discarded came out on 1 January 1947 and a second supplement (‘Zweiter Nachtrag’) on 1 September 1948. This original, early postwar book is a one-of-a-kind source for anyone who wants to know what all was published in twelve years of Nazi Germany, which was supposed to last a thousand years.
