The 6-1/2 x 9 inch SS publication is similar in layout and design as the SS Leithefte and was first published in 1940. The publisher was the SS-Hauptamt D III, the main office of the Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler. Offered for sale is issue #20 which was published in 1944 in nice condition. Just like the SS Leithefte, the Nazi propaganda in this illustrated issue focuses on the heroism of the SS men who are fighting for the survival of civilization against the Bolshevist hordes.
