ORIGINAL 1943 PANZER GENERAL HEINZ GUDERIAN LETTER TO HIS PUBLISHER

The ‘Generalinspekteur der Panzertruppen’ General Heinz Guderian, chief of staff in the OKH and the only general in Hitler’s army who dared to yell at Hitler wrote this letter on 7 July 1943 from the Wehrmacht headquarters in Berlin, Bendlerstrasse to the well-known publishing company Mittler & Sohn, also located in Berlin. Guderian thanks the publisher for printing a new edition of a book that he wrote and asks for 20 complimentary copies which he plans to give away as gifts.
