The 5-3/4 x 8-1/4 inch, 46-page soft cover book was published in 1941 by Junker und Dünnhaupt Verlag in Berlin and is part of a series of books on the ‘Deutsche Gaue’ (political German districts) that were published during the Third Reich by this publisher. This volume deals about the city of Hamburg, Germany’s largest harbor. During WWII a firestorm, caused by Allied bombing on Hamburg, killed thousands of civilians.
