This heavily illustrated 8-3/4 x 9-1/4 inch, 168-page soft cover book by Friedrich Heiss was published in 1940 by Volk und Reich Verlag in Berlin. It is a very comprehensive original Third Reich photo documentation about the war against Poland in September of 1939. Only the first explaining chapter is text, the remaining pages are mostly photos! A very interesting book in nice condition. Comes with its original, slightly damaged dust jacket. This title is much harder to find than the matching ‘Der Sieg im Norden’ book by the same author, which we also have listed on this website. In a pocket in the back is a supplement that has the full text of this book translates into English and French.
