Oberdonau, die Heimat des Führers is a 8-1/4 x 10/14 inch, heavily illustrated 126-page hardcover book, published in 1940 by Bruckmann Verlag in München. It was published by order of the Gauamt für Kommunalpolitik Gau Oberdonau. The book contains many photographs, i.e., of the house where Hitler grew up, his parents, classmates at school, etc. and his return as ‘liberator’ in 1938 after the annexation of Austria as well as pictures of the beautiful towns and nature. Comes with its original but damaged dust jacket.
