This interesting 7-1/4 x 10-inch, 96-page soft cover book was published in 1938 by Verlag Heinrich Hoffmann in Munich. The professional photographs were taken by Heinrich Hoffmann, the official photographer of the NSDAP. The 86 photos in this book provide an interesting insight of the “inofficial” life of Adolf Hitler. Many of the photos were taken on the Berghof, Hitler’s mountain residence on the Obersalzberg, other photos show Hitler with mountain farmers, with visitors on the Berghof, people he met on his walks in the stunning nature but also Hitler alone, relaxing and reading the paper, throwing sticks for his dog and so on.
