An interesting 7 x 10 inch, 100+ page soft cover book by Prof,. Heinrich Hoffmann (Photoberichterstatter der Reichsleitung der NSDAP – official photographer of the NSDAP Reich Leadership), published in 1937 by Zeitgeschichte Verlag in Berlin. The 100 photographs provide an overview of the ‘unofficial’ life of Adolf Hitler. Many of the photos were taken on the Berghof, Hitler’s mountain residence on the Obersalzberg, including many that show the interior of this historic building. Other photos show Hitler receiving birthday wishes from HJ boys and BDM girls, shaking hands with workers somewhere in the Reich, one photo even shows Hitler with three chimney sweepers, a symbol of good luck in Germany. The book is in used condition, but no pages are missing or have detached from the book.
