ONE OF THE FINEST THIRD REICH BOOKS ON FARMING COUNTRY WOMEN

The rare 7 x 9-1/4 inches hardcover book was written by Anne Marie Koeppen and printed 1935 by the Reichsnährstand Verlag in Berlin, the official publishing house of the Nazi farming organization. On 240 heavily illustrated pages it shows like no other original Third Reich book we have seen so far the life of the German farmers women in the Hitler-Germany! Except for some stain spots on the first pages the book is in very good condition. The book is divided into two main chapters, the first part gives some historical background on the Germanic “Odalsbäuerin” (Odal farmers woman) and the longer second chapter is on the Bäuerin (female farmer) and Landfrau (country woman) in the Third Reich. A very interesting addition to anyone’s collection of original Reichsnährstand material on farming women in the Third Reich.
