The 7 x 7-1/2 inch, 120-page soft cover books were published in 1937, 1939 and 1940 by the Reich Women’s Leadership under Gertrud Scholz-Klink. The books explain the structure of this Nazi State organization and the duties of women in Third Reich Germany. The books also have a lot of very interesting Third Reich advertisings. The 1940 volume is clearly showing the different role of women in Nazi Germany since the start of the war. There are many photos showing young German women performing all kinds of tasks, from harvesting hay to assembling aircrafts, taking care of children as well as taking care of wounded soldiers, working hard in the war industry and so on, filling in fo rthe men who were fighting at the front lines. The 1940 volume also comes with its original dust jacket.
