Offered for sale is a LOT OF SIX ORIGINAL ISSUES OF THE OFFICIAL NAZI POLICE PERIODICAL “DIE DEUTSCHE POLIZEI” (THE GERMAN POLICE) HEAVILY ILLUSTRATED WITH REPORTS ON ALL BRANCHES OF THE THIRD REICH POLICE, INCLUDING SS-POLIZEIDIVISION, TRAFFIC POLICE, FIRE POLICE, CRIMINAL POLICE, ETC.!
The 9 x 12 inch, heavily illustrated magazines were the official periodical for Policemen of all branches in Third Reich Germany, including the SS Police Divisions. They were published by order of SS Leader Heinrich Himmler. First published 1 September 1933 with the title “Der Deutsche Polizeibeamte” it was changed to “Die Deutsche Polizei” around 1937/1938. Each issue if filled with well illustrated reports from all branches of the Nazi German Police. Before SS Leader Heinrich Himmler was also appointed Chief of the German Police on June 17, 1936 and he was also in control of this periodical the magazine was published by the “Kameradschaftsbund Deutscher Polizeibeamte” (Fellowship Association of German Police Officials). Some issues are in rough condition and one title page is missing but all articles are there and each issue contains a ton of information, lots of pictures and some great Police advertisings (see at bottom of this page).
