The 6 x 8-1/4 inch, 158-page soft cover book in very nice condition by Oberstleutnant Heinz Schattler was published in 1943 by Verlag Mittler & Sohn in Berlin. In his 1943 speech in the Berliner Sportpalast Propaganda Minister and Gauleiter of Berlin Dr. Joseph Goebbels asked the audience if they want the ‘Totaler Krieg’ or Total War. The handpicked audience screamed yes, and the result was a completely destroyed country that unconditionally surrendered two years later. This book is about learning to drive a motorized vehicle in times of total war.
