The 6-1/4 x 9-1/4 inch, 112-page soft cover book in excellent condition was published in 1934 by the office for genealogy in northern Germany (Schleswig-Holstein) and printed by Verlag Heimat und Erbe in Kiel. The heavily illustrated book is an interesting study of the ‘Sippen’ (can be roughly translated as tribes) in the northern parts of Germany, called the Nordmark under the Nazis.
