A huge, rare and sought after original Third Reich poster as they were plastered on walls and ‘Litfass-Säulen (large, cylindrical announcement boards that were all over Germany), coming from the estate of an NSDAP Ortsgruppen Propaganda Leader of the name Adolf Kautz from the Karlsruhe area. Measures approximately 47 inches by 33-1/2 inches or 1200 x 850mm. The poster praises Adolf Hitler’s achievements to dramatically improve the lives of the German workers by improving their working and living conditions, giving them (party controlled) access to art with the Kunst dem Volk program, improving the working conditions through the Schönheit der Arbeit program, promoting sports with the Sport dem Volk program and making cruises and other organized vacations affordable for ordinary workers with the Urlaub und Erholung dem Volk Strength Through Joy (KdF) programs. Very few of such original large size posters have survived because they were either glued on a wall someplace or destroyed during or after the war.  We have never seen another original of this large size offered for sale anywhere. Will look great when framed and the creases will flatten out behind glass.
