THIS COMPANY WAS ONE OF THE FOUR COMPANIES CHOSEN TO DELIVER THE MEDALS, BRONZES, MEMORABILIA AND SOUVENIR ITEMS FOR THE 1936 OLYMPIC GAMES WHICH TOOK PLACE IN THE REICHSHAUPTSTADT BERLIN! THIS ONE-OF-A-KIND COLLECTION COMES FROM THE WIDOW OF THE OWNER, MR. HANS MARTIN, WHO PASSED AWAY IN THE 1970’s. MOST OF THE ITEMS OFFERED BELOW ARE PROTOTYPES OR FROM THE FIRST PRODUCTION RUN AS MR. MARTIN ALWAYS TOOK A SAMPLE HOME FOR HIS PERSONAL COLLECTION! MRS. MARTIN GAVE THEM TO A GOOD AND LONGTIME FRIEND OF THE FAMILY IN BERLIN SHORTLY BEFORE SHE PASSED AWAY. Bronze head of Mrs. Martin
There was probably only one ever made. Mr. Hans Martin made his wife immortal when he created this three-dimensional head of her! 82 x 38 x 38mm or 3-1/4 x 1-1/2 x 1/1/2 inches on original granite or marble(?) base, no markings Probably made as a special surprise to the wife of the foundry owner.
