The 5 x 8 inch, 86 page soft cover book by Korvettenkapitän Giese was published in 1941 by Wilhelm Limpert Verlag in Berlin. The author introduces the different branches of the Kriegsmarine (KM or Nazi Navy) and makes the service in the KM very attractive. The purpose of this book was to get volunteers to sign up.
