1939 FIRST READING BOOK MAGDEBURG WITH NATIONAL SOCIALIST CONTENT

‘JUNG-DEUTSCHLAND’

This 6-1/2 x 9-1/4 inch, 98-page hardcover book was published in 1939 by Verlag Georg Westermann in Berlin for the first and second graders in the Magdeburg-Anhalt region of Nazi Germany. It is heavily illustrated and has a lot of National Socialist content. The binding is a little loose and it shows signs of wear as can be expected, but no pages are missing or are damaged. Because it was published for a relatively small region only, and therefore probably published in small number, it is very hard to find.
