HEAVILY ILLUSTRATED ORIGINAL 1940 YEARBOOK FOR THE HITLER YOUTH BOY

HEAVILY ILLUSTRATED ORIGINAL 1940 YEARBOOK FOR THE HITLER YOUTH BOY

‘AUF GUTER FAHRT’

WITH EVERYTHING A BOY IS INTERESTED IN AND A LOT OF PROPAGANDA FOR THE NAZI ARMY

The 6-1/2 x 9-3/4 inch, 370-page hardcover book with 200 photos and illustrations was published in 1940 by Michael Beckstein Verlag in Munich. It is the sixth edition of a series of yearbooks that were published for boys in Third Reich Germany. Just like the official Hitler Youth yearbooks Jungen Eure Welt, these books contained everything a boy is normally interested in: nature, science, technical things, stories from foreign countries and of course the armed forces. Because of its publication year, this edition deals a lot about the German Wehrmacht and its branches, the campaigns in Poland, France and Norway. The cover is a bit, an imperfection that could be easily fixed, otherwise this interesting book is in very good condition and will make a nice addition to anyone’s collection of original historical Hitler Youth material.
