This scarce 12-1/2 x 16(!) inch hardcover portfolio was published in 1938 by Bruno Schultz Verlag in Berlin. It contains 24 high-quality nude photographs, each on a separate cardboard-like backing and protective parchment paper, an index sheet telling who the photographers were and the folder itself, everything in excellent condition. There is absolutely no explaining text but twenty-four very tasteful full-page photographs of nude women. All pictures are in excellent condition and would be very suitable for framing. Notable photographers featured in the large-format folio include Bruno Schultz, Willy Zielke, Heinz Hajek-Halke, and Trude Fleischmann. The prints typically capture classical and pastoral nude studies. We have seen this sought-after item offered for three times as much elsewhere.
