The 6-3/4 x 9-1/2 inch hard cover book was written by Dr. Max Freiherr du Prel by order of the Reichskommissar of the occupied territories, Dr. Seyss-Inquart and published in 1941 by Konrad Trilsch Verlag in Würzburg, Germany. On 396 pages (plus a map in the back) with many photos, the book gives a lot of information on the relationship between Holland and the German Reich before and after the German occupation. The very interesting book contains reports on art, economy, people, nature, Police, and a very interesting chapter on the well-known Dutch SS volunteer Legions. The book is in very good condition, the binding is tight and there is no damage to any of the pages and it comes with the in most cases missing original dust jacket.
