NSDAP MEMBER SINCE 1923, MEMBER OF THE SCHUTZPOLIZEI AND EINSATZLEITER (CONTROL OFFICER) IN THE JEWISH GHETTO LITZMANNSTADT (LODZ), MEMBER OF THE SS-POLIZEIDIVISION!

SS-Obersturmbannführer Karl Schulz was Commander of the 19. SS-Standarte Westfalen-Nord from 16 Aug 1933 to 12 June 1934. From November 1933 to March 1936 he was also a member of the National Socialist Reichstag, the Nazi German government. He was a member of the NSDAP since 1923 and in 1924 he became a member of the Schutzpolizei. In 1931 he joined the SS and he climbed the career ladder to the rank of SS-Obersturmbannführer. During the war (until 1944) he was Einsatzleiter (Control Officer) in the Jewish ghetto Litzmannstadt (Lodz) in German occupied Poland. Karl Schulz died on 2 February 1989 in Bad Berleburg, Germany. We were able to acquire a very interesting Nazi era documents lot from SS-Ober-sturmbannführer Karl Schulz plus a grouping of postwar documents of him and his family, including SS fieldpost letters and wires, sent to him to Litzmannstadt, his business card and much more! As an important figure of Nazi Germany Schulz even has his own Wikipedia entry (search for Karl Schulz (NSDAP) on Google)!
