DACHAU CONCENTRATION CAMP

INMATE LETTER

FULL MONEY BACK GUARANTEE FOR AUTHENTICITY

Offered here is a historic document: an original inmate letter from KL Dachau (Dachau Concentration Camp), sent in 1942 to the inmate's family. The inmate was a 30 years old Polish male of the name Thaddeus Lalewski, inmate number 2549? (last digit is under the rubber stamp of the censor) who was housed in Block 12/2 in KL Dachau. The picture on the left lists the terms how letters had to be written, what could be written, what gifts an inmate was allowed to receive, that visits were not allowed and that there must not be asked for an early release because that is out of the question anyway. Thaddeus writes in some broken German, clearly indicating that German was not his native language and perhaps there was another rule that letters had to be written in German, so that the censor could easily read what was written. He wrote to his parents and his brothers in this letter, saying that he is doing fine. (What else could he write if he expected that the letter even left the camp). A seldom seen historic document that comes with full money back guarantee for authenticity.
