WUNDER DER WELLEN

The 5-3/4 x 8-3/4 inch, 300-page hardcover book by Eduard Rhein was published 1935 by Deutscher Verlag in Berlin. The heavily illustrated book (120 illustrations) explains in an easy to understand way the "mysteries" of radio and television. Especially television, first invented and patented at the end of the 19th century, first commercially sold in Nazi Germany in 1934 and since 1936 also available in the U.S. had very little in common with todays television. The cheapest TV set that was commercially available in the United States in 1936 had a three inch screen, it is quite a lot more comfortable to watch a footbal game on a big screen TV today! This very interesting 1935 book is a very good example of how fast technology advances!

The book is in very good condition, the binding is tight and there are no loose or missing pages. A great item for anyone interested in "antique" technology!
