The 6 x 8-1/4 inch, 300-page hardcover book was published in 1942 as a remembrance book for honorably discharged members of the Wehrmacht, the armed forces in Hitler-Germany. The book contains a lot of information about the German military as well as a chapter for the veteran to document his military experiences, campaigns he participated in, awards and so on. Since towards the end in 1945 pretty much every male had to pick up arms to defend the homeland, few if anyone was discharged and the few who did for sure had other things in mind to write down their memories, The book is in very nice condition.
