The 6 x 8-1/4 inch, 226-page hardcover book in nice condition was published in 1938 by the Verband Deutscher Vereine im Ausland. The Auslandsorganisation der NSDAP was the Nazi Party branch for all the Germans who lived outside the borders of the German Third Reich. The Greater German Reich had 42 Gaue (districts), each of them controlled by a Gauleiter. The AO was considered the 43rd Gau under the leadership of Gauleiter E.W.Bohle. The Auslandsorganisation der NSDAP had its headquarters in Stuttgart.
