Unissued War Merit Cross first class (Kriegsverdienstkreuz Erster Klasse) cased medals from the Deschler factory, discovered in the 2000s during a renovation. Here we have 10 cased crosses in MINT condition in the never opened factory paper wrap! This set of 10 medals is still wrapped in its original paper bundle where they have been stored since the day they were completed in the factory. They’ve not seen the light of day for 80 years! The discovery of these medals is known as the ‘Deschler Hoard’. The medals shown in the photo are from another sleeve we have with the paper torn open. We are including the photos just so you know what’s inside of your unopened pack!
