Both 9-1/2 x 12-1/2 inch albums, each complete with about 200 pictures, were published by Cigaretten-Bilderdienst Altona-Bahrenfeld in Germany and are in very good condition. They come with their original dust jackets and it is safe to say that this set is one of the most comprehensive Nazi German publications about the 1936 Olympic Games. The Winter Games took place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Summer Games were held in Hitler’s Berlin and turned into a big propaganda event.
