Nice original first pattern NSKK (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrer Korps) leather helmet. We have seen better and worse examples over the years. This one has the owners name in a few spots. The leather body is flexible and not dried out. Does show wear on ear flaps but is solid. The flexible chin strap is complete as is the stitching throughout. The eagle has some corrosion but haven’t touched it. The leather liner is soft and completely intact with original string. Was just purchased with a lot of bring back items.
