Offered for sale is an
EXTREMELY RARE ORIGINAL 1944 DOCUMENT, SIGNED BY ONE OF MOST CRUEL JEW AND PARTISAN HUNTERS
SS-STANDARTENFÜHRER OSKAR DIRLEWANGER
Offered for sale is this rare original 1944 document, signed by (at the time) SS-Standartenführer Oskar Dirlewanger. He was founder and commander of the SS penal unit ‘Dirlewanger’ and his name is linked to some of the worst crimes of the war. He was extremley cruel, sadistic and cold blooded and Himmler was impressed by his horrible acts that he awarded him the German Cross in Gold. We are not going into detail what he did but encourage to click on the link below to read his biography and accounts of his unspeakable crimes. Anything signed by him is extremely rare and this is only the second original Dirlewanger signed document we ever came across. Dirlewanger signed this document, which was the cover sheet of the daily order (Tagesbefehl) and report (Bericht) of the actions (probably against Jews and/or partisans) in the village Senkowitschi, sent to the ‘Kampfgruppe von Gottberg’. The actual order/report has been lost to time and only the cover sheet, signed by Dirlewanger, has survived.
