This extremely hard to find 7 x 9-3/4 inch hardcover book is one of the finest original Third Reich publications on Hitler Youth and BDM ever printed! The book has 320 pages with countless excellent photos of HJ boys and BDM girls throughout the entire book! It was written by Reinhold Sauttner and published in 1942 by Karl Roehrig Verlag in Munich, Germany with the permission of the Reich Youth Leadership. It describes in detail all four major parts of the HJ, the Jungvolk Pimpfe (the youngest boys in the HJ), the regular HJ (for the older boys), the JM (Jungmädel, the youngest girls in the organization) and the BDM (Bund Deutscher Mädel for the older girls)! The book is in very nice condition and comes with the rare original dust jacket, some yellowing of the paper (in the late stages of the war the quality of the paper was of a lower quality). With all the close-up photos this book is a number one reference guide for any collector of Hitler Youth history!
