The larger medal is 1-3/4 inch in diameter and was made by order of the big construction company C. Kallenbach in Berlin with an office in the Saar region. The plaque was probably made in 1935 when most people in Germany supported the Saar region which was occupied by the French since Germany was unable to fulfill its obligation to pay war reparations as demanded in the Treaty of Versailles. The second medal is celebrating Adolf Hitler as the person who is leading the German people and German nation out of misery.
