Offered for sale is the complete year 1939 of the official NSDAP newspaper Illustrierter Beobachter, bound into two large volumes. The publisher was the NSDAP owned Franz Eher Nachf. Publishing House. The ‘Illustrierter Beobachter’ (or IB) was the weekly heavily illustrated version of the NSDAP propaganda newspaper ‘Völkischer Beobachter’ (or VB). The size of the volumes is 280 x 370mm or 11 x 14-1/2 inch. The condition is nice and the amount of information and pictures is amazing. Bound into two volumes are issues #1/1939 to #52/1939, the entire year 1939. There are plenty of Adolf Hitler photos and articles as well as photo reports from various Nazi organizations and about everything else that was going on in the world in the year 1939, with the Blitzkrieg against Poland being one major topic of course. A rare find in excellent condition.
