This historic item, ‘Modell Continental’ made by Wanderer-Werke in Siegmar-Schönau is one of the typewriters that were used in a Amtsstube (Office) as well as by Police and SS units (or other Nazi officials or organizations) at the front lines, in occupied territories, on field exercises or any other occasion. The box is sturdy but still lightweight, making it easy and convenient to carry this typewriter. The box shows minor signs of wear, and the handle is missing but is otherwise complete and it protected the typewriter over many decades. There are no parts missing that we could notice, and it is operable.
