Offered for sale is a VERY RARE ORIGINAL THIRD REICH SS JUL-LEUCHTER / YULE CANDLE HOLDER THIS IS NOT ONE OF THE COUNTLESS REPRODUCTIONS AND OFFERED WITH FULL MONEY BACK GUARANTEE FOR AUTHENTICITY
Offered here is a fine example of the well known SS Julleuchter, made by Allach, the SS owned porcellain manufactury. The SS Leadership saw the SS Julleuchter as a replacement article for Christian occasions and to celebrate holidays and days that were of importance in the SS belief as well as important dates in NSDAP history such as Hitler’s birthday. The Julleuchter was, for example, to be lit on the Mid-Summer Solstice, Mid-Winter Solstice and “Yol”, the pagan Yuletide intended to replace Christmas. The item is made of plain ceramic earthenware and decorated with a heart and the Nordic rune on all four sides. The height of the Julleuchter is 8-1/4 inch and it is 8-1/4 x 8-1/4 inch at the base. In the beginning Allach was the only maker of the Julleuchter but as the war progressed Allach was unable to meet the demand and this piece was coproduced by other manufacturers. This item make an important asset to every SS and SS-Ahnenerbe collection! Again, offered with a full money back guarantee for authenticity.
Made of unglazed stoneware, the Julleuchter was decorated with early pagan Germanic symbols such as the “spoked wheel” or Hagel Rune. This Julleuchter was purchased from an antiques delaer in Germany, who bought it from an elderly German man who brought it into his shop. It is unquestionably original and we took it to one of the largest shows in the U.S. (S.O.S. Show) and many other dealer looked at it and gave thumbs up and only because it has been painted it was not bought by one of them. Because of the paint we are offereing this Julleuchter for a lot less and give full money back guarantee for authenticity. It is complete with the Allach SS mark on the bottom and with no chips, scratches, etc. These hardly ever come on the market, at least not originals.
This rare item has no chips or cracks, only that someone painted it in gold color, either before the Third Reich had collapsed or postwar, we don’t know. Therefore this otherwise fine piece is offered for a lot less than what they usually sell for, if an original surfaces.
