BDM NAZI TEACHER'S GRADUATION ESSAY

(SEMESTERARBEIT)

This 8-1/2 x 12 inches, 48 pages hard cover book is the essay a future female Third Reich teacher had put together as the written final for her graduation. Annelies Born had her work professionally bound as a hard cover book from the bindery Th.Retzlaff in Coblenz in 1938 and this item which is offered for sale is probably the only one that exists! The title of her work is "Why do we have not only sport competition between men but also among girls and women". The whole essay is divided into the following three main chapters:

A. The physical training of the German women and girls.

B. Deutsches Frauentum (German women) and the competition under biological aspects, character aspects and of the aspect of the girl/woman in the National Socialist community.

C. Comparison of the sport competition in ancient Greece with the National Socialist Germany.

A very interesting historic document on how the German youth was trained to think about Race, purity of the blood, importance of physical fitness, etc. which you will never find exactly like this one again!

The dots on the photos are from the reflexion of the flashlight on the glossy paper, not an imperfection!!
