RARE ORIGINAL 1942 DOCUMENT REQUESTING THE ATTENDANCE OF A MEETING OF SS/POLICE LEADERS ABOUT SOBIBOR AND TREBLINKA CONCENTRATION CAMPS, SENT OUT BY THE HEAD OFFICE OF

REICHSFÜHRER-SS HEINRICH HIMMLER

This interesting original document was sent from Heinrich Himmler's Head Office to SS-Police district leader Bicker. He, as well as all other district leaders, was supposed to attend a meeting held in the hotel 'Elephant' in the city of Weimar on 7-8 July of 1942. The meeting was about the concentration camps Sobibor, Treblinka and a third camp. The document is signed by SS-Gruppenführer Schmitt as well as a second SS/Police official. The document was found in 1945 in a burned out building in Berlin by an American soldier and taken home as a war souvenir. The document is partly burned but without affecting the text or any of the stamps and/or signatures.
