Offered for sale is a RARE ORIGINAL 1941 THIRD REICH PHOTO BOOK ROSS UND REITER AM FEIND A VERY INTERESTING BOOK ON WAR HORSES IN THE GERMAN ARMED FORCES This 6-3/4 x 10 inch, 168 page soft cover book in very nice condition by Rolf Roeingh was published in 1941 by Deutscher Archiv Verlag in Berlin. The very well illustrated book shows the important role horses played in all the campaigns throughout Europe. Because of the Blitzkrieg campaigns there is the misconcenption that the Wehrmacht was all mechanized. This was absolutely not the case, horses still played a vital role in the German army during World War Two.
