DIE SIEGESFAHRT DER BREMEN

BOTH WITH ORIGINAL DUST JACKET AND LOTS OF GREAT PHOTOS! VERY GOOD CONDITION

The size of the rare hardcover photo book from U-Boat ace Werner Hartmann FEIND IM FADENKREUZ is 6 x 9 inches. It has 260 pages with a lot of excellent U-Boat photos, is in near mint condition and comes with its original dust jacket. It is one of the finest original Third Reich books on the hunt of a German U-Boat in the Atlantic Ocean! It was printed 1942 by the Verlag Die Heimbuecherei in Berlin.

DIE SIEGESFAHRT DER BREMEN is a hard to find 1940 Third Reich photo book about the heroic trip of the "Bremen" from New York through the British blockade back to the German harbor. The Bremen was the biggest German cruise ship at that time and in August 1939 it took off in New York to get back to the homeland. For weeks nobody knew what happened to the ship, if it was sunk, captured... until it finally arrived in Bremerhaven! The captain, Kommodore Ahrens used all kinds of tricks and escaped from the Royal British Navy! This book is also in very good condition and comes with its original dust jacket. It was written from the captain of the "Bremen" himself and printed 1940 by the Steininger Verlag in Berlin.

A great addition for anyones collection of Third Reich U-Boat and Nazi Navy history!
