BDM JUNGMADEL PENNANT

FULL MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE FOR AUTHENTICITY

Offered here is an original BDM pennant / Jungmadelgruppenwimpel for Jungmadelgruppe 3 of Jungmadeluntergau 237 Moers of Gebiet 10 West Ruhr-Niederrhein. Pennant measures 22" x 37" long, and has all 3 of it's original metal clips! There is a remnant of the original RZM tag. The Hersteller number "375" indicates Willy Stelzer, who was located in Stuttgart. This is about 350 to 400 kilometers south of Moers, so that would make it a possibility that his facility made the Wimpel. His permit was granted in 1934 and remained in effect until the end of the war. The stiching is very sound, the cloth is all intact, with no damage or holes. The black base fabric is in excellent shape and coloration. The chain stiching is sound, with no pulls or thread breaks. Both sides are mirror images of each other. The only downside is that the white fields are age toned; not terribly, but no longer white, either; lets say a definite off-white. It has not been attempted any sort of cleaning; we leave that to the preference of the new owner. However, we are confident that a mild washing would really make the white areas of this pennant "pop." (we have cleaned party flags, in a mild Woolite type solution, soaking in the sink, and flags have gone from soiled to perfectly fresh looking!).
