Göring, Speer, and Funk signed these note cards in 1946, while on trial in Nuremberg. A few of these same slips of paper have surfaced bearing the signatures of many of the Nuremberg defendants. These were more than likely collected by guards during the trials. Pictured along with the Göring slip is another example which is published in Andre Hueskens book. Noted on Göring’s slip is his cell number and mentions he is sentenced to death. Speers slips mentions his sentence of 20 years and Speer has also dated it (6 Sep 1946) and has mentioned his cell number (Cell 17). Walther Funk (he was Reich Minister for Economic Affairs from 1938 to 1945) signed and dated his slip as well. These slips are roughly 5” x 3”.
