Julius Streicher's Stürmerverlag in Nürnberg published three extremely anti-Semitic books for children. The illustrations for two of them are by Philip Rupprecht, better known as the Stürmer cartoonist Fips. This original draft of page 36 of the book "Der Giftpilz" is dated 1937 and signed by Fips. The Stürmer Publishing House had it framed in 1938. It has an explanation as well as rubber stamp from the publishing house on the reverse side. The drawing is an original draft by Fips, handsigned at the bottom right. This is NOT a print and bears Fips' original signature!

The total size of this unique item is 410 x 310mm or 16-1/4 x 12-1/4 inch. The picture shows two Jewish lawyers who tricked their clients, two German women. The story in the "Giftpilz" book deals about two Jewish lawyers, one hired by the indicter and one by the defendant. Instead of representing their clients the two Jewish lawyers are only interested in their money and secretly work together. As a result both German women come to the conclusion never to hire a Jewish lawyer again. A full color version of this drawing is on page 36 in the book.
