MESSERSCHMITT Me109 NAZI FIGHTER PLANE

This textbook chronograph was removed from a Me109 in 1945 by an American soldier who went into the cockpit and physically removed it himself as a very cool and historic war souvenir. The name of the vet is Ray Denman US Army and his family might even find a picture they know exist(ed) of him standing on the plane after removing this gauge. If they find it we will be happy to send it to the lucky new owner of this item. The size of this so called 'Borduhr' chronograph is 2 x 3 inches and the wind up knob is in working order. One can hear the gears inside. We cannot give any guarantee if it works properly but it appears to holding the time.
