The 8-3/4 x 9-1/4 inch, 260-page hardcover book with 200 photos (many of them full page photos) is one of the most comprehensive Third Reich books about the so called Reichsprotektorat Böhmen und Mähren, the German occupied Czech Republic where SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich was deputy leader until he died in 1942 from blood poisoning in the wounds caused by an assassination. The book deals about Bohemia and Moravia's nature, economy, the German pupolation and how they suffered under the Czech government until it was put under Nazi German control in 1939 and finally how Bohemia and Moravia became part of the Greater German Reich. The book was written by well known Third Reich author Friedrich Heiss in cooperation with Waldemar Wucher and published 1943 by Volk und Reich Verlag, a big German publishing house with branches in Berlin, Amsterdam, Prague and Vienna. Except some minor damage to the back and a few stain spots on the first empty pages it is in very good condition.
