ORIGINAL 1940 LETTER THAT

THE FÜHRER ADOLF HITLER

SENT TO AN OLD COUPLE IN EAST PRUSSIA TO CONGRATULATE THEM TO THEIR 60TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Offered for sale is a letter, written on Adolf Hitler's stationary, signed by autopen (the autopen signature is aperfect match to the example in Hamilton's book Vol. 2) and sent to a couple in Breslau (today Wroclav in Poland) in East Prussia. The couple celebrated the rare 60th wedding anniversary and Hitler sent his best wishes to the couple and his hopes that they will have many more joyful years with their family. The couple probably had only four more years, it is very unlikely that they survived either the Russians or their escape to teh German mainland in the west. This lette is rare in two ways: 1) any material from Koenigsberg and Breslau is hard to find because a lot was destroyed and what remained was not accessible behind teh Iron Curtain for almost 60 years and 2) very few couples can celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary.
