Offered here are two very interesting books on the the German blimp program that came to an end after the the pride of the Nazi airship fleet, the Zeppelin Hindenburg, the biggest aircraft ever built: 804 feet long, filled with over seven million cubic feet of combustible hydrogen crashed on May 6, 1937 when landing in Lakehurst, New Jersey.
The first book was published in 1924 on occasion of the 25th anniverary of Zeppelin construction. It is a 9-1/4 x 12 inch, 86 page soft cover book that is filled with construction blueprints, detail pictures as well as photos of the passenger compartment and the bridge.
The second book was published in 1939, a 9-1/4 x 12 inch, 64 page soft cover book that focuses on the travels of these giants to Norway, New York and other destinations. This book has a tear in the upper part of the cover, otherwise both books are in excellent condition.
