Deutschland - Ein Buch der Heimat was written by Hans Ostwald and published 1938 by Paul Franke Verlag in Berlin. The 6-1/2 x 9 inch, 320-pages hardcover book in excellent condition contains 288(!) full page photos on Germany, its architecture, nature and people. Offered here is a copy of the second edition. Deutschland in Bildern was written by Dr. C.W. Schmidt and published 1934(?) by Karl Voegels Verlag in Berlin. The 7-1/4 x 9-3/4 inch, 128-pages hardcover book in also very good condition (only imperfection is some color fading of the cover) contains 186 photos (many of them full page) about German cities and countryside. Both books contain very little text but excellent photo material and will make a great addition to every collection of historical material on Germany!

there are many full page photos showing Nazi architecture and places of historic importance for the National Socialists, such as the Reich Party Day Grounds in Nuremberg (above) and the Feldherrnhalle in Munich (below).
