DEUTSCHES WOHNEN

(GERMAN LIVING)

Offered are two issues of the seldom seen 6 x 8-1/4 inch monthly periodical 'Deutsches Wohnen', published by order of the Nachrichtenstelle des Reichsstandes des deutschen Handwerks, something similar to the Handwerkskammer today (Chamber of Handicrafts) in Berlin. The well illustrated magazines show how the average German 'Volksgenosse' (Fellow German) lived in the 1930s. Offered are issues #4 1938 and #6 1939. Very interesting material.
